The Canadian National Committee of the International Dairy Federation (FIL-IDF Canada) is the only national forum where all partners of the Canadian dairy industry discuss issues relevant to the sector in a non-political way (eg. the National Dairy Code).
FIL-IDF Canada brings together producers, processors, agencies, universities, colleges, research institutes and private companies involved in the dairy business in Canada.
Canada has been a member-country of FIL-IDF since 1971 and is playing in a major role at the international level. It is a non political, non profit, national organization which promotes through international cooperation and consultation, the solution of scientific, technical and economic problems in the international dairy field.
